Who am I?

Hi,

I am an engineer, researcher, and lifelong explorer of how God’s designs in nature can inspire better human innovation. I’ve always been fascinated by how natural structures balance beauty, efficiency, and purpose, and my work aims to reflect that same harmony. Through biomimicry and hands-on research in materials and design at Michigan State University’s Composite Vehicle Research Center (CVRC), I strive to create solutions that are both high-performing and meaningful, continually refined through my doctoral studies in Civil and Mechanical Engineering. Whether I’m in the lab, in the classroom, or out on a hike, I’m driven by the same curiosity and gratitude: to learn from creation and share that wonder through engineering. I’m grateful for the chance to share my journey with you. Every visual and design here comes from my own hands and experiences.

- Best, Alexander

... Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
